Based in the Equestrian Unit in Cow Watering Lane, IBRC works with Writtle College to maximise
the educational benefits from its activities. Students help organise, participate in and take management information from club events to maximise the benefits for their academic studies.
We are affiliated to British Riding Clubs (Area 8) and this means that, we are able to put forward teams of riders to compete in Dressage, Show Jumping, Horse Trials and Hunter Trials, we are one of the Affiliated Riding Clubs who can enter you in team events in the Essex area.
The club has been running for approximately 20 years and has a membership of around 100 people. As well as putting teams forward for National qualifiers/championships we hold our own dressage, showjumping, x-country shows etc and also training clinics andsummer camp (seniors only).
Most of our club shows are based at Writtle College but Area team events are held at various venues.

We always need help at shows so even if you are not that competitive yourself maybe
you could come along and join in.
Remember, we can only continue to run the club if we have the support of our local riders!
